38/365 (Feb 7) Choices, Choices...

This morning, Grace was faced with a pretty serious dilemma: Which do I want, to chew on my foot, or to eat my bottle?? Man, what a tough choice to make, huh? I believe she did what any brilliant, multi-tasking young lady would do...both!

If only the tough choices I had to make in life involved just my feet and my food. Life would be much simpler, eh?

(...please excuse the grainy Blackberry picture. The camera wasn't handy at the moment, and this is just too good of a picture to pass up for today's shot.)

12/365 Grandpa's #1 Girl...and Carrots

Holding Grandpa's hand on his birthday:

"No more pictures, please!" She wore this special shirt just for Grandpa:

"What's going on here?"

"Oh! Food! Yes, please."

"Umm, not what I was expecting. Gross! I don't think I like carrots, mama."

I love how she can look so disgusted, disappointed, yet adorable all at the same time!

6/365 Feeling a Little Better Today- Picture Overload

Baby Grace is feeling a little better today. Definitely not 100% but she is showing signs of being on the mend. Here are a few photos from our day.

Waiting for the doctor. Today was her first day showing much interest in Sophie the giraffe. She had a very tight grip on it.

This afternoon she spent a good 15-20 minutes in her jumperoo laughing, spinning, jumping, bouncing, and smiling. It was wonderful seeing her so happy for the first time in a few days.

She also figured out how to make this thing spin and after getting sick and a quick clean up, as you can see on her seat, she spent about 10 minutes just starting it spinning and watching in amazement, over and over!

She also had her first taste of food today...peas. This was her reaction:

Overall she didn't seem overly impressed. She didn't hate them, though, so we will try them again tomorrow. Don't let her in on my secret...Mama doesn't like peas either.
