48/365 (Feb 17) Playdate Time!

It was time for another playdate with Grace's friends Addie and Ryker. We did a little shopping and then visited at Starbucks. Shopping and Starbucks makes for a happy mama. As you can see, the baby came home very happy afterward, too:

42/365 (Feb 11) We Love Friends!

We got together with Auntie Elle and Baby Landon, as well as Sarah, to discuss plans for the Relay for Life team that I am joining (and very excited about, by the way). Here are a few pictures of Baby Girl, Elle, and Landon.

Of course, it wasn't long before the fingers went into Grace's mouth.

29/365 Playdate With New Friends

The other day, Grace and I met up with a couple of my "mommy friends" and their adorable little ones at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Despite Grace not feeling 100% and having a slight cold like her Daddy, she seemed to have a pretty good time. She absolutely loves other babies...and I love watching them interact! I had a great day also, visiting with Katie and Stefanie. I plan to post more pictures from that day, but here are a few shots for now.

17/365 - Friends (and a Computer, too)!

Ryan worked today, so the baby and I went down to have lunch with one of my best friends (Erin) and her family. She has 2 daughters, Emily and Nadia, who are two of the cutest girls ever. I used to be a nanny to Emily when they first moved here from Oklahoma. She was very shy and reserved for the longest time, but she has now come out of her shell a lot and loves interacting with myself and with Grace. Nadia, who just turned one, is definitely still going through her shy stage but she has the biggest smile I have ever seen on a little baby. I love these girls immensely. ...and a computer, too! Grace absolutely loves my laptop and will sit and admire it, reach for it, and try so hard to get her hands on it. Today, I let her touch a few of the keys and you should have seen the excitement (and disbelief) in her eyes. The little bugger even found a way to disable my wifi capabilites ...and she only pressed five or six keys. I had fun (not) trying to figure out how to turn them back on.
